	“Twist Off” Cd Sales Make a difference Burnett Jones likes to remind people that life is short. Giving back to their hometown Austin, TX is also a top priority for founding band members Wade Burnett, Chad Jones and Dionne Burnett. Sales of the Burnett Jones debut album are making a difference not just locally but worldwide. How? Burnett Jones music is being played all over radio stations in United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and more!! This exposure is great for the band, but also helps to create awareness of the bands efforts to donate portions of their *Twist Off* CD proceeds to Rexanna’s Foundation for Fighting Lung Cancer www.rexannasfoundation.org. In fact, even celebrities Billy Bob Thornton and Ron White took an interest in the Burnett Jones mission and felt the urge to contribute. On February 1, 2008, Burnett Jones is also proud to have aided in raising the M.D. Anderson cancer research center $100,000.00 from the first annual “Huddle Up For the Cure” benefit that takes place in November each year. 		Comedian Ron White & Burnett Jones Comedian Ron White, aka “Tater Salad,” paid a visit to the Texas hill country in early December. He was spotted performing impromptu shows in Austin and San Antonio before settling into his four day run out at Poodie’s Hill Top Bar and Grill in Spicewood. Burnett Jones closed out Ron White’s Poodie’s tour with a bang on December 8^th. Like actor Billy Bob Thornton, Ron was also inspired to autograph two copies of the Burnett Jones CD “Twist Off.” Both signed CD’s will be auctioned for charity this spring: The first being at Travis County’s Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo. The second CD will be up for auction at the Brittany Tuck Memorial Benefit Concert and BBQ on March 9^th—which hosts special guest artist Charlie Robison. Stay tuned for more Tuck benefit details!
				Billy Bob Thornton At Poodie’s Hilltop On August 11th, fans of the Austin, TX band, *Burnett Jones*, got a treat when Billy Bob Thornton and band sat in and wailed some blues. After learning that Burnett Jones donates a portion of their album proceeds to fund cancer research, Thornton purchased a Burnett Jones "Twist Off" CD, signed it, then asked that it be auctioned and proceeds donated to the cancer research charity. Also jamming with Burnett Jones that night was Paula Nelson. Poodie's Hilltop is located in Spicewood TX and is known to attract many big stars because it is one of the few "REAL HONKY TONKS" left in Texas.

			Burnett Jones Debut CD Released Twist Off , the debut CD from Burnett Jones is now available online at Cdbaby and in stores/online Lonestar Music. Upon the release of Twist Off, Burnett Jones announces proceeds from the sale of the CD will be donated to Rexanna’s Foundation for Fighting Lung cancer.
